Mark 4:35-41
Point 1 – The Deep Conquers Darkness
- Jesus does not wait until everything is perfect to show up
- Jesus had a mission to carry out
Even in the darkest moment of your life, Jesus has a mission to carry out for you, inside of you, and with you!
- John 1:4-5 (NLT) - The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.
- Matthew 5:14-16 (NKJV) - You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
We are called, as Christians to be the light in someone else’s darkness!
Point 2 – The Deep Leaves the Crowd Behind
- If you want to go deeper with Jesus, deeper with the Father, you must be willing to leave the crowd behind
When you go deeper in your relationship with Jesus, your prayer time, your study time, the right people will follow…
