Pastor Lance Taylor

Lance Taylor never imagined he would find himself in ministry. But when God calls… you answer, and Pastor Lance responded with a resounding yes. God’s calling has led Pastor Lance to serve in various ministry roles including children's pastor, youth leader, church musician, and lead pastor.

When God called Pastor Lance to Christian Union as lead pastor in September of 2020, He was bringing Lance back to the church where he had been raised. Pastor Lance was joined by his wife of 19 years, Vikki, and their four children: Landon, Jacob, Elijah, and Brody. Vikki works and has a master’s degree in counseling, and she also faithfully serves in various areas of the church including the Ladies Fellowship and the Children’s Ministry.

Since his pastorate at Christian Union began, Pastor Lance has returned to school through online classes. In December 2023 he received a Bachelor of Science in Ministry Leadership with an emphasis in Pastoral Ministry from Lee University.

Pastor Lance has been a devoted, dedicated, and inspiring leader not just at Christian Union, but also in the community. Since January 2024 he has served as an Instructor for the Turner County Christian Learning Center Middle School Classes and he serves on the board of Turner County Family Connection. He is also a character coach with Turner County Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
